Summer’s colors and emotions pop out in UMI’s “Introspection”

"Introspection" is her second video project, followed by the EP called "Love Language". In this production, UMI displays her music in another way, less fictional and more pragmatical, with tangible events that occur in everyday lives. In addition to the message, UMI released this work of hers at the beginning of summer, a season known for its freedom and solar beauty. Now more than ever, this is both a time of action - think about the Black Lives Matter movement, along with the November's elections, and other political decisions - and a time of reflection - where we can re-explore ourselves and our identities.

Lana Del Rey’s new album, curly flower’s love letter

I wish Chloe x Halle were there in my teens

Fresh and soulful melodies It's not that common to listen to pop music and feel connected on a soul level with that beat. It can happen, but most of the times the genre itself provides fun, upbeat, catchy songs with no relevant lyrics nor remarkable content. Two sisters from Atlanta (GA), Chloe and Halle Bailey, …

A place where I could be whoever I wanted to be, where I could achieve my dreams, where all my teenage-fantasies could be finally realized. I must say that until now some of my so-called-dreams …

Drippin’ nice and catchy beats

Last month the music industry surprised us with three unexpected releases: Drake's single "Nice For What", Cardi B's album "Invasion of Privacy", and Kali Uchis' melodic "Isolation". Maybe because it was after Women History Month, but all these songs have a common denominator: women and their power, fierce, and courage. Or maybe it was just the …
